„MSC Aaya“

In the early morning hours of August 4, 2024, the "MSC Aaya" docked at the Eurogate Container Terminal in Hamburg. This was the maiden call of the newly built container ship at the Port of Hamburg.

Launched by Hyundai in Ulsan, Korea in 2022, the "MSC Aaya" can be powered by LNG and is one of 20 LNG dual-fuel ships already in service for the MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company.

With a length of 366 meters and a width of 51 meters, the container ship can transport nearly 15,000 TEU and reaches speeds of up to 22 knots.

The "MSC Aaya" operates in the Swan Service, which connects Asia with Northern Europe and the Baltic region.
