The Nordmann Information Center organizes the "Christmas trees for the ships in the Port of Hamburg" campaign, which has now become a Hamburg tradition.
The traditional Christmas tree throwing has been taking place since 1997.

This year, Senator for Economic Affairs Dr. Melanie Leonhard took over the patronage and also ensured that the seafarers in the Port of Hamburg could take a little bit of Christmas spirit with them on their voyage.

Of course, our deputy port captain, David Gnutzmann, and Santa Claus himself were also there.
By the way: the little greetings and pictures on the trees were made by children from Hamburg schools. A wonderful and reflective pre-Christmas season for everyone and especially, of course, for all the crews at sea!
