The St. Pauli Elbtunnel is one of Hamburg’s most spectacular constructions. Built over 100 years ago, the tunnel connects both sides of the Elbe river. For the past years the Hamburg Port Authority was busy renovating one of the two "tubes" of the tunnel - to ensure its preservation and its safety.
