Simon Lembke appointed as new member of the Board of Directors at DAKOSY

The Supervisory Board has appointed Simon Lembke to the Board of Directors of DAKOSY AG as of September 1, 2023. With his extensive expertise and many years of experience in the DAKOSY business areas of data center management, community systems and customs applications, Simon Lembke will take on his new role on September 1, 2023. The 43-year-old is currently the main department manager for customs and forwarding applications at DAKOSY.

For Lembke, the position on the Board of Directors represents a new challenge within a familiar environment. In his new role, he intends to keep the company on course for the future. He emphasizes: "For more than 40 years, we have successfully mastered all new technological and organizational challenges. With focused ambition, we have developed into one of the leading software companies for logistics and established ourselves as a community operator for seaports and airports. We want to pursue this path rigorously by picking up on new trends and identifying suitable technologies and making them applicable to logistics. This is our strategy to further strengthen our position as a major driver of innovation in the logistics industry."

As a member of the Board of Directors, Simon Lembke will be responsible for the areas of development, data center management and support. The Board of Directors also includes Ulrich Wrage and Dieter Spark. The latter will retire at the end of the year after many years of service on the Board.

Biography Simon Lembke
Simon Lembke (43) brings more than 20 years of experience in the IT and logistics markets to his new position. After completing his A-level exams, the Hamburg native studied business informatics at the University of Applied Sciences in Wedel. During this time, he began working for DAKOSY and other Hamburg-based logistics companies in the internet environment on a freelance basis. After earning his degree, Lembke began his career at DAKOSY in central development at the beginning of 2004, progressing through all of the company's strategic departments in the years that followed and consistently building up a broad range of expertise. In his current position as main department manager for customs and forwarding applications, he has been responsible for both the development and operation of all customs and forwarding software solutions since 2020
