Marina Basso Michael, Head of Market Development Baltic Sea Region / Eastern Europe, is back at Port of Hamburg Marketing after parental leave

After one and a half year of parental leave Marina Basso Michael, Head of Market Development Baltic Sea Region / Eastern Europe, is back at Port of Hamburg Marketing. During her leave a lot has changed in the markets, as you can see in the cargo handling results between Hamburg and the most important ports of the region. The developments can be named as volatile in Russia and very dynamic in the Baltics and Poland.

For this and the following year several activities, in cooperation with the Port of Hamburg Marketing representative offices, are planned. For example the participation at the “Trans Russia” in April 2018 or events which discuss current developments in the markets, for example this fall in Stockholm together with the Port of Brunsbüttel. Another important part of Ms Basso Michael’s work is a constant dialogue with member companies and partners from the region and the visits on site.
