The Hamburg Liaison Office China (HHR Shanghai) will welcome new leadership on January 1, 2025, as Lars Anke takes on the role of Chief Representative. Anke is no stranger to representing Hamburg in China, having previously led the office with great success from 2006 to 2019. His extensive experience and deep commitment will further strengthen Hamburg’s strategic position in Asia, bringing fresh momentum and new initiatives to the region.
After several highly successful years at the helm of the Shanghai office, Pan Hua has chosen to step back from her leadership role. She will, however, remain with the office as Senior Vice President, continuing her active engagement in fostering Hamburg-Asia relations and contributing to strategic projects. Her vast expertise will continue to be an invaluable asset to the team.
Additionally, Ye Miaomiao, a valued team member since 2011, will be appointed Deputy Chief Representative. With her rich experience in marketing, media relations, public relations, and social media, Ye brings deep expertise and a comprehensive understanding of HHR’s mission. Her skills and vision will be a perfect complement to the office’s dynamic new leadership team.
