Hamburger Hafen und Logistik Aktiengesellschaft (HHLA) updates outlook for the Container and Intermodal segments due to the as yet preliminary development of volumes and earnings in the first half of 2015, and confirms the earnings target for the HHLA Group for the 2015 financial year.
The preliminary volumes and earnings development, which was today made plausible and evaluated, resulted in an updated outlook for the Container and Intermodal segments.
Subsequently, a moderate reduction in volume development is expected in the Container segment for the entire year (as yet: slight increase). Depending on capacity utilisation, the segment result is likely to fall within a range of € 125 million to € 135 million below the previous year’s level (as yet: moderately below the previous year).
The expectation concerning the result for the Intermodal segment will be raised: Due to the earnings trend in the first half of the year, a stronger increase in earnings is expected for the financial year (as yet: considerable increase).
In light of these segment developments, the Executive Board still forecasts a Group result at the previous year’s level.
Further details will be outlined in conjunction with the Interim Financial Reporting for the first half of 2015 on 13 August 2015.
