Heinrich Ahlers has wrapped-up his remaining responsibilities at the Buss Group, and will begin his well-deserved retirement shortly before his 65th birthday. He had already relinquished his role as CEO of Buss Port Logistics to his successor Marco Neelsen 1st October 2015.
"I am pleased to see that Marco Neelsen quickly and efficiently adapted to his new tasks, and that he was very well received by the port and logistics network. Therefore, it is time for me to retire from the Buss Group. Those who know me will also know that I will stay connected to the ports and logistics industry" says Heinrich Ahlers.
Dr. Johann Killinger, Managing Partner at Buss Group: "In Marco Neelsen we have found an ideally qualified successor for Heinrich Ahlers. I thank Heinrich Ahlers for the great cooperation of almost seven years, and I wish him the best for his retirement."
After taking office last October, Marco Neelsen now drives the charted course at Buss Port Logistics, especially abroad, where additional port projects are developed and operated.
