From September, Hamburg port is part of the new Baltic Sea feeder service of the COSCO subsidiary DIAMOND LINE.

The two feeder ships "NAVI BALTIC" and "OOCL RAUMA" operate bi-weekly between Hamburg and Russia, St. Petersburg and Kotka in Finland. They have a capacity of 1,421 TEU each and 300 hookups for reefers. In Hamburg, the RFS4 service will call at HHLA Terminals CTT and CTB, as well as at Eurogate Terminal.

On the evening of 02 September, the OOCL RAUMA called at Hamburg for the first time as part of the new service.
"In the past six months, the Russian market has recovered from last year's setbacks caused by the pandemic. A slight increase of 0.3 percent in cargo throughput at Russian seaports already points to a positive development for Russia. The port of St. Petersburg in particular is showing positive figures and growth in container handling. The new connection by feeder ship between St.Petersburg, Finland and Hamburg also strengthens the Russian ports and is another positive signal for all three countries," says Natalia Kapkajewa, Head of the Representative Office of Hafen Hamburg Marketing in St. Petersburg.

Note:
Hamburg was already incorporated into Diamond Line/Cosco's Russia feeder service RFS/BRX-2 in June 2020. As a slot charterer, Diamond Line/Cosco is represented on feeder services operated by Yang Ming (Poland) and Unifeeder/CMA CGM (Poland, Lithuania, Russia, Finland).

From September, Hamburg port is part of the new Baltic Sea feeder service of the COSCO subsidiary DIAMOND LINE.
