The global shipping line Chinese-Polish Joint Stock Shipping Company (Chipolbrok), specialized in general cargo and heavy lift transportation, announced that they will change their terminal and stevedoring partner in Hamburg on 1 September 2016. In future, the multipurpose vessels of Chipolbrok, regularly operating between Europe and Asia, will be handled at C. Steinweg (Süd-West Terminal) instead of Buss Hansa Terminal, its current terminal. Background to this decision is that the logistics company Buss Port Logistics will cease operating at Buss Hansa Terminal.

"We would like to express our great thanks to the management and the entire staff of Buss Group and Buss Port Logistic Company for many very successful and efficient years of our long lasting partnership and cooperation", said Radoslaw Chmielinski and Steven Dai, Shipping Directors of Chipolbrok Gdynia.

Since decades, Chipolbrok is a permanent customer of Port of Hamburg. The universal port is firmly integrated in Chipolbrok’s schedules since the company’s foundation 65 years ago. The shipping line, which was founded on 15 June 1951 by the governments of the People's Republic of China and the Republic of Poland, celebrates its 65th anniversary this year. Over the past decades, Chipolbrok has developed to a leading global carrier: The fleet comprises 20 multipurpose vessels with own loading cranes on board.
