A trilateral agreement on the implementation of the project to create a transport and logistics center "Bronka" has been signed

On June 6, 2019, within the framework of the St. Petersburg international economic forum, a trilateral agreement on the creation of the Bronka transport and logistics center has been signed. The signing ceremony was attended by the Chairman of The Board of JSC "Russian Railways" Oleg Belozerov, acting Governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov and General Director of "TLC "Bronka" LLC Andrey Zaitsev.

Construction of the TLC Bronka will allow Saint-Petersburg to create a new transport hub with the maximum cargo handling capacity and a high level of infrastructure which will help to speed up transportation process and reduce overall logistics costs due to the economy of scale and more efficient interaction of several modes of transport.

The project of TLC "Bronka" includes the construction of the main railway infrastructure (7 tracks with a total length of more than 7 km), including auxiliary facilities, access roads, warehouses, service points on an area of more than 310 000 m2. The project is to be implemented at the "TLC Bronka" LLC own expense, without public funding.

Railway tracks and cargo handling infrastructure of TLC "Bronka" and the adjacent port "Bronka" (operator and owner –"Fenix" LLC), as well as the unification of cargo units (containers) will provide additional transport and investment attractiveness of the city and the Leningrad region.

Considering prospects of development of international trade, there is every reason to believe that TLC Bronka will accelerate the integration of the national transport system of the Russian Federation into the global transport system of cargo transportation", – commented on the plans for the construction of the TLC, the General Director "Fenix" LLC Nicolay Negodov.
