Hamburg will expand the shore power supply in the port in the coming years massively. In addition to reducing climate-relevant CO2 emissions the project will also significantly reduce air pollutants and noise emissions, thereby further increasing the quality of life in Hamburg. As the first port in Europe Hamburg will in future also offer shore power supply in the port for large container vessels at the terminals Burchardkai, Europakai and Predöhlkai. In addition the shore power supply will be extended to all cruise terminals.
