Anyone who imports their goods via the Port of Hamburg knows that, in addition to customs checks, veterinary, plant or food control are also necessary.
The Border One Stop Shop, or BOSS for short, is intended to simplify these processes in the future.
We went to to Finkenwerder Straße 4, where the customs office is located and where BOSS will be set-up.
There, our moderator Mathias Schulz spoke with colleagues from the Department of Justice and Consumer Protection, Customs and the architectural firm ATP about the concrete realisation of this innovative project in Hamburg.
In 2027, BOSS will open its doors at Finkenwerder Straße 4!
Until then: Have fun watching!
