With a symbolic first train ride the Hamburg Port Authority opened the new Rethebridge in the Port of Hamburg. The new bridge connects important areas in the Port of Hamburg and will thereby optimize the traffic flow. It is henceforth the largest lifting bridge in Europe and one of the biggest worldwide.
