The Port of Hamburg is Germany's largest all-purpose port. Its strength and ability to compete is largely thanks to the port industry, transport, logistics and industrial companies, working there today. Many of them are members of the Port of Hamburg Marketing association.

With enormous commitment and diverse activities the Marketing association and its members advertise the attractiveness of the location and diversity of services in the Port of Hamburg with its excellent hinterland connections. Equally, the Port Marketing association represents its member's interests through focussed communication, project and marketing activities in Hamburg and the important target markets. All their activities are impartial and competitively neutral, addressing the common interests of the port location as a whole.
