„BCF Glückauf"
The barge operated by the shipping company ‘Modal 3 Logistik’ runs a weekly liner service between Hamburg and Magdeburg with a stopover in Haldensleben. The ship, which offers a capacity of 144 TEU in a coupled convoy, regularly calls at all container terminals in Hamburg. Here you can see the ‘BCF Glückauf’ with the so-called cargo ship lighter (GSL) ‘Primero’. The ‘Primero’ has its own propulsion system, which is a great advantage when travelling on the canals, especially when passing through locks or handling cargo in the port.
