GREEN CRUISE PORT is a partnership of Hamburg Port Authority and Hamburg Cruise Center e.V. (hosts), Rostock Port, Freeport of Riga Authority, Port of Tallinn, Klaipeda State Seaport Authority, Port of Helsinki, Maritime Institute of Gdansk, Port of Bergen and Port of Esbjerg.
Port authorities, terminal operators, cruise lines, research institutions, cruise associations, NGOs as well as policy stakeholders are welcome to discuss and address future needs and challenges to encourage investments in environmentally-friendly cruise port infra- and superstructure as well as in smarter traffic links to the public transport and supply systems. In three years, the GREEN CRUISE PORT Project will work on the development of smart solutions for "greener" cruise ports in the Baltic Sea region and the neighboring North Sea region focusing at:

GREEN CRUISE PORT aims to work on a comprehensive overview of solutions and recommendations supplied by a broad range of players in the field of ports and cruise industry. The paper will be published in 2019.
