Less than six months after United Heavy Lift launched the UHL FRESH, the Hamburg-based heavy lift shipping company is now strengthening its environmentally friendly F900 Eco-Lifter fleet with another newbuild: the UHL FABLE is the 19th ship to complete this series, which has been further developed and operated by United Heavy Lift. With the F900 Eco-Lifters, the global shipping company is setting new standards for environmentally friendly transport in general cargo and heavy lift shipping and making an important contribution to the energy transition.
Like its sister ship UHL FRESH, the UHL FABLE was also built at the CSSC Hudong shipyard in Shanghai. The multi-purpose (MPP) heavy lift vessel is currently on her maiden voyage from Tianjin and Dongzhao to Cuxhaven with a project cargo of rotor blades for onshore wind turbines, where she will be unloaded. From there, the UHL FABLE will start its journey to its christening location in the Port of Hamburg, where it is expected to arrive on Sunday, 14 July.
The christening ceremony will take place on 15 July at 12 noon in Hamburg and can be followed via livestream.
