The event will highlight how smart charging infrastructure combined with battery energy storage systems (BESS) can make logistics sites fit for the future. Against the backdrop of the increasing electrification of heavy goods transport and the growing importance of photovoltaics in logistics areas, technical, economic and legal aspects of modern energy concepts will be discussed. The focus will be on depot charging as an efficient and cost-cutting strategy for logistics companies.

Topics covered include the needs-based planning and operation of charging infrastructure for electric trucks, the integration of PV systems and battery storage for grid stabilisation, energy trading, virtual power plants and specific issues relating to charging infrastructure in rental properties. The event will be accompanied by experts from the fields of logistics, electromobility and energy.
