On the occasion of this year’s Hamburg Port Anniversary (Hafengeburtstag Hamburg), the Career Information Centre (BIZ) invites to the exhibition “Set Sail & Get Started”. Under the motto “No old salt – but still the port?”, the diversity of the world of work at the Port of Hamburg is shown.

The exhibition provides an insight into what everyday working life looks like between the quayside, cranes and containers, while also offering the opportunity to explore current job vacancies at the Port of Hamburg. The talk “Gateway to the World – Careers in the Port” on Monday 4 May 2026 at 2:00 pm will also provide exciting insights into training and career pathways in the maritime sector.

In addition, there is an opportunity to create a professional portrait for your CV.
