On 25 June 2026, the seventh Leading Sustainable Shipping Technologies Forum (LSSTF) will take place at the International Maritime Museum in Hamburg.
The LSSTF is a platform for professional exchange on innovative ship propulsion technologies between researchers, manufacturers, users and infrastructure service providers. The forum is based on a partnership between the Large Engine Competence Center (LEC) in Graz and the Hamburg Port Authority (HPA) and the mutual benefits arising from this collaboration. The primary focus is on scientific exchange and networking among the various partners.
Whilst the LEC in Styria researches and develops sustainable marine engines, the HPA and the Port of Hamburg offer an attractive field of application for innovative technologies of this kind. The forum takes place alternately in Graz and Hamburg. This year’s host is the HPA.
This year’s programme will focus on the themes of ‘Autonomous Solutions for Sustainable Ports and Last-Mile Logistics’, ‘Advanced Fuels and Scalable Retrofit Solutions’ and ‘Next-Generation Emission Monitoring and Control’.
The conference language is English.
Attendance is possible on-site, and the event will also be streamed.
