Trelleborg
Sweden and Germany are two highly developed industrialised countries whose long-standing economic relations are based on strong foreign trade. Germany is one of Sweden's most important trading partners and this relationship is also reflected in the long-standing relationship and multitude of connections between the ports of Hamburg and Lübeck with the Scandinavian country.
Lübecker Hafen-Gesellschaft mbH (LHG), the largest RoRo port operator in the Baltic Sea, not only offers ideal sea and hinterland connections to and from Sweden, but also innovative handling technologies. Together with its partners, LHG stives to optimise the entire transport chain for its customers. The Port of Trelleborg is the second largest port in Sweden, handling more than 900,000 cargo units annually (2021).
The port has daily ferry connections to/from four ports in three different countries. In close cooperation with shipping companies, partner ports, rail operators, and in close dialogue with cargo owners, Trelleborg aims to especially increase volumes on the international rail connections.
To inform about these transport connections, Port of Hamburg Marketing, together with LHG and the Port of Trelleborg, is inviting guests to the German-Swedish Port Event.
