The Braunschweig logistics region is an important market for the Port of Hamburg. There are particularly strong waterborne connections for the sustainable transport of goods between the two regions.
Port of Hamburg Marketing would like to use positive examples to show you the relevant role that inland waterway vessels play in the overall transport system and which areas are being promoted in the port and hinterland. In addition to the efficiency of inland waterway transport, the focus will also be on aspects of rail freight transport and the central role of inland ports.
