Elbe Allianz e.V. has been organising the Elbe Navigation Day in various cities along the Elbe every two years since the 1930s. Experts regularly discuss current challenges and potential in the Elbe river region. The last Elbe Navigation Day took place in Hamburg in June 2022 under the patronage of the First Mayor. This year, we cordially invite you to Dresden. The Elbe is an indispensable transport route for the shipping industry in Saxony and the neighbouring Czech Republic, especially for heavy machinery and plant construction. The waterway can also make a major contribution to relieving congestion on road and rail routes.

After the official part of the event, we cordially invite you to join us on a cruise along the Elbe. Since the mid-1990s, the Saxon inland ports of the Upper Elbe and Port of Hamburg Marketing have been travelling the Elbe waterway - the natural link between Saxony and Hamburg - together with logisticians, partners and customers.
