ONE Inspiration - A Vessel of Extraordiary Dimensions

The "ONE Inspiration" impresses with its dimensions: at almost 400 metres in length, 61.4 metres in width, and with a capacity of 24,136 standard containers (TEU), it ranks among the largest container ships in the world. Built in 2023, it combines state-of-the-art ship technology with exceptional performance. A next-generation long-stroke engine delivering 48,300 kilowatts drives a 10.5-metre propeller. Thanks to variable exhaust control and LNG capability, the "ONE Inspiration" operates with optimised emissions, setting new standards on the path towards more climate-friendly shipping.

The vessel is part of the ONE Ocean Network Express fleet, formed through the merger of the Japanese shipping lines MOL, K-Line, and NYK. As part of the Fe-4 “Silk” service, the "ONE Inspiration" connects major economic centres in Europe and Asia on a weekly basis – from Hamburg via Le Havre and Algeciras to Singapore, Shanghai, and back again.

As it descends down the Elbe toward the harbor, the precision with which large container ships like the "ONE Inspiration" are guided through the fairway becomes apparent.
