The Port of Vyborg is located to the east of the Vyborg Bay. An approach channel passes through the Vysotsky Turn and leads to the Port.
Due to limits in depth within the Vysotsky Turn, the maximum allowable draft of vessels heading to the Port of Vyborg is 6.5 m, and their maximum allowable length is 135 m.
The Port is connected with the Russian transport network by rail and road and with countries of Northern Europe by sea.
The total length of in-port railway tracks is 6,278.72 m.
The Port uses two in-house locomotives. The railway track capacity is 110 cars a day.
