Company presentation fromSince 2000 HafenCity’s InfoCenter at the Kesselhaus (boiler house) is documenting developments in the HafenCity, the biggest urban development project in Europe. An 8x4 meters 1:500 scale-model of HafenCity urban planning reflects with ever-increasing detail the progress of development.
The historic red-brick listed building dating from 1886 was Hamburg’s first steam power station. The delicate steel chimneys are illuminated at night and can be watched from inside the building through a glass dome.
