Hamburg Cruise Center Altona lies on the Elbe between the Fish Market and the beach at Oevelgönne. The terminal's roof terrace opened in 2011 offers a magnificent panoramic view of the Port of Hamburg. A café makes sure that the passengers don't go hungry. The inner city is just 15 minutes away by public transport. The berths can take cruise ships up to 300-metres-long, with the ships' power supply coming from the shore as from summer 2015.
