CGH Cruise Gate Hamburg GmbH, Cruise Center Steinwerder

In June 2015 a third cruise terminal comes into operation in Hamburg, the Cruise Center 3 (CC3) at Kronprinzkai, in Steinwerder. Surrounded by containers and multi-purpose terminals, shipyards and historical warehouses, the largest cruise ships, more than 400 metres long, will tie up here in the future. The embarkation and disembarkation areas will be separate, so that 8,000 visitors can be dealt with on two parallel passenger bridges. The terminal offers 1,500 car parking spaces as well as extra capacity for buses, taxis and trucks. Land-side Hamburg's inner city is less than 20 minutes away. In addition there is a public waterbus stop connected to the HADAG network. The cruise ship terminal is intended to be used initially for 15 years.
