Since 1858 the universal C. Steinweg (Süd-West Terminal) GmbH & Co. KG has been at Kamerunkai in the Port of Hamburg. The business concentrates on stowage and warehousing of conventional general cargo. The terminal has an ISPS certified stock exchange warehouse where it, for example, stores metal, coffee, cocoa, paper and project cargo. Services provided in addition to goods control, sample taking, repackaging, checking, fumigation plus Customs clearance.
Even though C.Steinweg is not a traditional railway terminal, it also loads and unloads rail cargo from/to China as it is directly connected to the Hamburg Port Railway.
