    Executive Education – At a Glance The KLU executive education portfolio is designed for international managers. The seminars and events focus on a blend of “Logistics” and “Leadership”. Through our varied course offering, managers of all different levels will certainly find the right course, which best addresses his or her needs. Course Series: “Logistics Trends and Innovations” The day forums in our portfolio pick up on current developments and industry trends ranging from breakthrough technologies, strategies for future markets and CO2-optimized transport chains amongst other hot topics. A typical day forum begins with a conceptual grounding in the form of a lecture, which is followed by field reports from experts active in the corporate environment whos share their best practices in the classroom. The day forums convey the latest knowledge and are ideal platforms for establishing networks. Seminar Series: “International Supply Chain Excellence” The seminar series, “International Supply Chain Excellence”, covers fundamental topics of logistics management. Of the 15 individual seminars, two basic seminars are offered in “Supply Chain Management” and “Supply Chain Strategies”. Through case-based learning and other interactive methodologies, seminar participants integrate theory and practice while acquiring new knowledge. International Summer School During the twelve-day Summer Schools Logistics Management, participants tap into an effective compact learning environment. The agenda centers on general business management concepts and their application for logistics. Due to the close collaboration during case studies, management simulations, excursions and the attractive supporting activities, participants form a strong network which often accompany them beyond the classroom along their careers. Executive MBA Program The Executive MBA Global Logistics Management is geared towards professionally experienced managers. The application-orientated degree course with logistics specialization, in combination with leadership skills training, is the ideal prerequisite for successful development in executive positions and expanding one’s own area of responsibility. Leadership Forums Leadership Forums cover the topics leadership, corporate governance and business ethics, as well as human resources and organizational development. It consists of the “Leadership Forums” and the “Leadership in Logistics” seminar. These courses are designed for upper management and senior executive levels. Bachelor in Management Specialization in General Management or Logistics Management The Bachelor of Science in Management starting in September 2013 is a highly attractive program for ambitious students who would like to complete their first degree in 6 semesters at a university which offers an international environment, direct interaction between students and world-class professors and applies student-centered learning. The program gives graduates the skills, knowledge and the mindset to either start their career in an international, high-intensity work environment or go on and study for a graduate degree at any of the best universities in the world. Students can choose between a general management specialization or make use of the KLU's position as a major center of research in logistics and specialize logistics management. In addition, students can choose between a standard (180 ECTS) and an intensive track (210 ECTS). Master of Logistics The Master of Logistics (MSc in Global Logistics) lays the foundation for an executive career. The program is a unique combination of logistics, management and leadership. Master in Management The Master of Management (M.Sc. in Management) provides a broad education in management and prepares you for top managerial positions. Two “integration projects” which have an innovative, problem-based approach to teaching make this program unique.
