3 AVATAR – AN INTERREG NORTH SEA L REGION PROJECT
AVATAR aims to test innovative and sustained ur- ban freight traffic planning, using unmanned, emis- sion-free vessels. The project investigates the po- tential for extending trades to rivers, canals and waterways in the urban context of the final mile. AVATAR is a transnational innovation project, pro- moted by the INTERREG North Sea Region pro- gram. Logistics Initiative Hamburg is one project partner – along with nine others from four coun- tries.
