BTKI facilitates through the several modern port facilities the operational clearance of RoRo- and Container vessels and also the loading and discharging of conventional vessels in the Ostuferhafen of Kiel.

With a warehouse-capacity of 20.000 sqm and highly advanced terminal equipment BTKI is well prepared for handling and storage of nearly all kind of cargoes. Beside the different forest products BTKI handles also container, project cargo, heavy lift- and general cargo as well as all kinds of wheeled cargo.

The ideal nautical position of the Ostuferhafen at the Port of Kiel nearby the Kiel-Canal submits to connect traffics from the North Sea to the Baltic States, Russia and Scandinavia.
