Cuxhaven, the Port at the Mouth of the Elbe River
CuxPort in Cuxhaven is a multifunction terminal located close to the international shipping routes between Western Europe, Scandinavia and the Baltic.
With access to inland waterways, motorways, the rail network and Cuxhaven-Nordholz Air/Sea Airport CuxPort has excellent hinterland connections. The terminal area has four berths (for ocean-going ships up to 15.80 m draught) and is thus ideal for the handling of RoRo goods, containers, bulk cargo and project loads.
The two state-of-the-art RoRo berths in particular make CuxPort to an attractive hub for short and deep sea traffic. An integrated terminal management system with a dedicated automobile logistics tool facilitates the smooth handling of passenger vehicles and commercial vehicles.
