Welcome on board!

The Hamburg-based bunker company Heinrich Wegener & Sohn has welcomed two new colleagues. From the 4th of December 2023, Andeas Reuter and Johannes Lembcke will support the bunker trading department, consisting of Andreas Lasczyk, Christian Blum, Carina Winter and Michael Treiber.

Andreas Reuter has been a well-known and valued partner in the bunker industry for 35 years. After working for a major marine oil supplier for eleven years, he continued his career as a bunker broker and trader. Through this long career, Andreas Reuter has acquired extensive expertise and experience in all aspects of the global bunker business. He has excellent relationships with a large number of suppliers and shipping companies around the world.

Johannes Lembcke began his career as an operator with various shipping companies. He gained extensive knowledge and experience of the specific requirements of operators, charterers and ship owners. After that he worked for four years as a bunker trader together with Andreas Reuter.

Heinrich Wegener & Sohn has been active in the bunker and lubricant market since 1929. Today, the bunker company is one of the largest independent lubricant resellers in Europe. The family business has an extensive portfolio of lubricant and fuel suppliers as well as well-known shipping customers from all over the world. By expanding its workforce, Heinrich Wegener & Sohn is strengthening its global capabilities and increasing the benefits for its customers.
