Best Annual Report of All SDax Companies - HHLA Receives Prestigious Award

In this year’s competition, the financial communication published by Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG (HHLA) received first place for “The Best Annual Report” among SDax companies. The competition is the most renowned evaluation of listed companies’ annual reports in Germany. The prizes are awarded by Bilanz magazine. The awards ceremony took place on 10 September 2015 at a gala event in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. 
 
Dr. Roland Lappin, the Executive Board member responsible for finances of Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG (HHLA), stated, “We are very pleased to be awarded best annual report 2014 for an SDax company. This confirms the high quality of our financial communication. At the same time, it represents an impetus for systematically taking our quality to the next level in the coming years. The next milestone will be to publish our annual report online next year in an interactive format. We believe this format will correspond even more closely to our shareholders’ wishes and interests, as well as those of investors and analysts.”
 
The awards assess annual reports of Dax- and MDax-listed companies, as well as the twenty SDax companies with the highest stock market value. The annual reports’ contents are evaluated on more than 100 criteria. The prize for best annual report represents the most renowned competition for financial communications published by listed companies. Running over twenty years, the competition is judged by a team headed by the Münster economics scholar Prof. Dr. Jörg Baetge.
