Exploiting synergies, combining resources, being present in important markets – our worldwide network makes a vital contribution to the success of our work. With the development of the markets and the constant advance of globalization, good contacts are indispensable for reacting rapidly and systematically to changes. Both in Hamburg as our base and in our market regions, we therefore work intensively with logistics initiatives as well as chambers of industry and commerce, and other associations and organizations.
Presence in relevant core and upcoming markets is especially essential for the success of the Port of Hamburg. Our thirteen representative offices in Europe and overseas represent the interests of the Port of Hamburg and our members in the hinterland of Germany and in foreign markets. They are well networked into the seaport business. In their market regions, they possess extremely good contacts with foreign trading companies, the transport and logistics sectors, trade associations and political decision-makers.
