The trade fair for shipbuilding and marine technology „SMM“ is held every two years in Hamburg. sThe leading fair for the maritime industry is an important meeting place for shipbuilders and suppliers. With more than 1,800 exhibitors from 55 countries and more than 50,000 visitors from all over the world, the fair is an important forum for ship-owners, executives and engineers. Additional workshops, conferences and presentations are offered on topics like maritime business, ship safety, and ship technology. The next SMM will be held at the “Hamburg Messe” fairgrounds from 7 to 10 September 2010. A central focus will be on the topics of environmental protection and energy saving.
