HHM’s Publications and Communications Services

Among HHM’s publications are the bilingual quarterly “Port of Hamburg Magazine,” the yearly handbooks “Port of Hamburg Handbook” and “Liner Services via Hamburg,” as well as numerous special brochures with information about cargo and terminals.

HHM takes out ads which promote Hamburg’s image as an universal port worldwide and also advertises in selected media, for example to publicise the port’s internet presence.

The multimedia service is also part of HHM’s communication service. The internationally known and often used web site www.hafen-hamburg.de is constantly being updated and extended.

Public relations work involves answering journalists’ enquiries, writing press releases and organising press conferences and events. The press department also maintains a large-scale digital image archive.
