Freighter voyages

Many shipping companies offer cargo ship voyages for passengers. These are sold through specialized agencies.

Most vessels on which passages are available operate on regular liner services. Nevertheless, delays can occur in times of sailing and arrival. The possibilities extend from shorter voyages lasting between seven and ten days to world voyages lasting several months.

Accommodation and food tend to be simple as a rule, but on some ships there is a small swimming-pool and possibly a sauna or a fitness room.
