Bunker and Waste Disposal Services

A variety of firms provide bunker services in the Port of Hamburg.

Among them are major international oil companies (Gefo, BP, Castrol, ExxonMobil, Shell, and Total) as well as independent companies like Bominflot, O.W. Bunker, Hans Rinck, NWB Nord- und Westdeutsche Bunker, Hanseatische Bunker und Handelsgesellschaft, I.B.T. Bunkering & Trading, or Friedrich G. Frommann.

Some of them also dispose of oily waste, ship’s waste water and sewage, chemicals, or solid ship-generated waste. The companies Carl Robert Eckelmann and HÖG Hamburger Ölvewertungs-Gesellschaft are specialised in these areas.
