The Institute for Consulting, Research, System Planning, and Packaging BFSV is active in the field of logistics research.

It deals with scientific studies in all areas of packing for export shipping. Among other things, its services include testing and developing packing, expertises, dangerous cargo packing, research and teaching, as well as training programmes.
