Who We Are

DORUM was set up in Warsaw in 1992 as one of the first customs agencies by virtue of license obtained from the Chairman of the General Customs Office. Acquisition of increasing market share was conducive to the building of the DORUM Group, which also includes: PU DORUM and DORUM GP Sp. z o.o, DORUM Company GmbH.

DORUM is a member of the Association of International Road Carriers in Poland. We hold a license for performance of domestic road transport of goods. We have also obtained membership in PIFFA - Polish International Freight Forwarders Association, representing Poland within the framework of the FIATA organization on the international arena in the field of shipping and forwarding. Being a member of the WCA Family of Logistic Networks we represent a neutral NVOCC and are automatically entitled to apply an FMC-licensed ocean bill of lading and to access the Automated Manifest System (AMS) for exports to the United States.

DORUM holds the following certificates

• PN-EN ISO 9001-2001 issued by the Polish Center for Research and Certification,

• WSK criteria (enabling clearances and agency in trade, transport etc. of strategic and dual purpose goods),

• the AEO certificate – customs simplifications.

Scope of Activity

The subject of activity of the DORUM Group is provision of logistic services:

• Customs services in the scope of support of international goods trade in export and import, also in simplified mode and transit,

• Custom support of esculent goods under Common Agricultural Policy;

• Services in the scope of maritime, port, air and road forwarding;

• Transport of containers provided by our own trucks and container chassis,

• Warehousing and packaging;

• Drafting of INTRASTAT statements;

• Legalization of trade documents for shipping goods to Third Countries, Overseas Countries;

• Fiscal representative in Hamburg.
